As we reported at this time last year, we have put the GBN on something of a 5-year plan. I will be retiring from my 'real' job in 2-3 years and hope to make the GBN a full-time activity. Thanks to your support in the past twelve months, we had our best year ever in 2005. We now cover our out-going costs, but the for the site to be a viable long-term option we still have to make more than the $1.35 or so an hour that this year's profit represented.

First, I want to make it very clear to everyone, that as long as I am around, the Great Blue will never operate on a premium subscription basis. The day we have to go that route is the day we hang 'em up. 

That said, you can help us out in at least a couple of ways. 

1. Click some ads... We know that the ads can be a bother, but they pay most of the bills. You can help by clicking an ad a day as that's how many of them pay us. 

Second, you can make a voluntary contribution to the Great Blue North by using the convenient Pay Pal service below. Any amount will be appreciated. 

Or you can send a cheque made out to: Squiterland Enterprises

(And if you do send something by cheque, please include your mailing address and e-mail listing.)

However, we intend that this should be a contribution with a bit of a difference. 

Anyone making a contribution of $25 or more, will receive a complimentary copy of our annual pre-season college football draft report which will mailed out in mid-August next summer. The report is designed to give football fans of all stripes a guide to the prospects to watch next fall in anticipation of the 2007 draft.
